Third Monday Blues Jam

at the Whitehall Township Public Library
with Earl and Chris Andrews

Started in December 2013 as a way to bring music to the Whitehall Township Library, Earl and Chris Andrews started what is now considered to be one of the longest running jams in the Lehigh Valley.  The jam operates under the prinicpal of first come first served, but limits the number of participants to ensure everyone has a chance to play.

Many of the Valley's music stars have appeared here including James Supera, Friends of Tom, Jim Sheridan, Tom Cooney, Leon Bohem, and Steve Jones.  This jam has also been the birthplace of many acts including Cassandra Rose, Kayla Summer, Kayla Avitable, and Seth Witcher to name a few.

New acts and seasons acts enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of 3rd Monday.  They can try out new material, appear with new band members, basically use the jam as a testing ground for new ideas before taking them to the larger stges.  Also, new acts have the opportunity to be reviewed before taking a step onto the bigger stages of Rocking the Valley.

Every Christmas, they have a Christmas show.  All are invited to play their favorite songs and even have a sing-a-long.  Great place to make friends.
