Award Winning Organization

Wake Up - Rise Up
It’s simply entertainers uniting to protest violence and promote Peace. Every year we will give a Worldwide virtual concert on September 21st that coincides with the United Nations “International Day of Peace”. This volunteer event contains Stop the Violence speeches from people from several professions, links to help local charities and performances from artists throughout the world. It normally runs straight for 24 hours or more. We would love to include a short pre-recorded video speech from you requesting peace. And you could include a pre-recorded video of the group's live performance. If interested our email is: wakeupriseup.wuru@gmail.com

Wake Up Rise Up is a global effort. There are musicians located in Africa, the Mediterrainian, Europe, All across the United States (New York, Lehigh Valley, York, Philadelphia) and to Austrailia. As many as forty locations have participated at one time or another. Each location is referred to as a "Stage".

Rocking the Valley started the first year as primary broadcaster and one of two stages populated with primarily Lehigh Valley musicians. For reference, the other stage may be found on Youtube - Angify.
The Lehigh Valley Stage
Musicians from the Lehigh Valley and adjoining areas are encouraged to reach out to Rocking the Valley if they are insterested in participating in the 2026 concert. If you are from New Jersey, we have a stage host taking care of that area and will forward any musicians from that geographic area.

If you appear on one stage, you need permission to appear on a second stage. All performers are limited in their time on line to allow everyone a fair chance to perform. Music must be uplifting and may not be violent or contain vulgar language.

If you have been previously banned, your request to participate will be handled by the steering committee.
